Video: Bayside Kings - Another Point Of View!

Another dope band from Brazil. This track is short but slick as fuck. After seeing this clip I've checked their older videos on youtube and they were ok, but this new one is definitely more up my valley. There is tons of great hardcore coming from Brazil nowadays and hopefully more people from Europe, US or Asia will give that scene a chance.

Live From Studio: Last Warning

Last Warning (Belo Horizonte) is working on a debut album, due out in early 2015. Hope free youth!

New clip from Clearview - Times Of Distress

Clearview is without a doubt one of my favorite active bands in hardcore. They dropped their last album 'Rage Through Integrity' in 2012 and if you read my review you know I loved the shit out of it. I even managed to catch them live last summer and they're nothing but legit dudes. Here's a clip the band put together from various footage from that European tour. Quit being a loser, check out this clip.

Inner Self Interview

It seems like every band from Brazil I hear nowadays is harder than the next one. The scene over there seems to be going really strong and those kids seem to be totally into the just right type of hardcore - hard and in your face. Inner Self falls into this trend and is another band from over there worth checking out. They recently dropped Bringing The Rage Back which is a beast of a record - heavy, fast and reckless hardcore fronted by hard-as-nails vocals. Bands like this one shouldn't go unnoticed so here's an interview with Athos (vocals).

Review: Clerview / Paura - Rage Through Integrity

Clerview/Paura - Rage Through Integrity (Caustic Records / HeartsBleedBlue)- Wow, this one packs a punch! Clearview’s delivery sounds tighter than ever. Musically, it’s all about furious riffs, heavy breaks, and thumping drums. They ain't afraid to wear their influences on their sleeve, but still it sounds honest and genuine. The production is beefy but sharp, with every instrument sounding crisp and clear.

Review: Clearview - Pure Mayhem

Clearview - Pure Mayhem (Caustic) - Holy shit, this is powerful! Clearview reps Brazil hardcore scene and comes from the school of angry and aggressive hardcore that goes heavy but never too much metal.

New Blood: The Only Way

The Only Way is a really cool band from Brazil ran by dudes who believe in straight edge and a positive change that hardcore can make. First of all, I like the band because their music is powerful and vibrant and I am sure lot more kids should give em a try. And secondly, I dig their lyrics because they talk about important things but have that down to earth attitude that separates being cool from preaching. Anyway, read the interview, listen to their demos and keep an eye on Brazilian scene in general!

New tracks by The Only Way

São Paulo straight edge unit The Only Way has dropped couple of new songs on their bandcamp profile. Check it out here!

Clearview Interview

I know many kids are so focused on American or European hardcore that they barely can name 3 bands from outside these scenes but if you’re one of them, you’re seriously missing out. And most definitely, if you don’t know any bands from South America, you gotta do your homework cause they got some crazy scene over there. Clearview reps Brazil and is example of a band that knows what’s up when it comes to that gritty and powerful hardcore sound that takes the vibe of the classics NYHC acts but puts its own spin on it. The band has dropped their new album, Pure Mayhem, couple of months ago so make sure you check it out!
