More hardcore from Italy! Traces Of You bring fast and fairly straight forward hardcore that blends both heavy and melodic parts. The shouted vocals make the package complete and even though I am not the biggest fan of this style of singing, they get the job done. Generally, it makes me think of modern hardcore but with a heavier tone. Something in the middle between Terror and Comeback Kid, I think you can get the idea.

Strength Approach seems to be one of the longest running bands from Italy, I even remember that one of their tracks was featured on the classic Call For Unity compilations by Back Ta Basics. It’s good to see them still going strong! The band makes absolutely no effort to hide their influences and the whole thing speaks of NYHC sound, bringing to mind classic albums we all grew up on. While their early releases were more youth crew oriented, in recent years their style progressed towards harder sound. It combines the rawness of Agnostic Front with energy of Sick Of It All, but they put their own spin on everything so it’s cool and the tracks don’t feel forced.
DYW Records to drop Mark My Words' Indicators album on vinyl
Here's are the words from my people from DYW Records: We're stoked to finally have a release date for the European vinyl release of the Mark My Words "Indicators" LP. Originally only released on CD in Australia later last year on Skull & Bones Records, we're proud to release this great piece of hardcore here in Europe and on wax! For those of you not familiar with the Central Coast quintet, since their first EP in 2009, these guys have been delivering some heavy hardcore to the masses, reminiscent of legendary Madball and Terror with the more modern touch of bands like The Ghost Inside. The LP will feature a brand new artwork and will drop just in time for the band's European tour supporting Strength Approach. Listen to a couple of their songs in the player on our website, start moshing and expect some news about pre-orders at some point during the summer! Mark My Words and Strength Approach will be touring Europe from September 20th to October 6th. "It's Our Time" features guest vocals by Craig Setari of Sick of It All and is the first song off the upcoming Strength Approach "Roma Hardcore State of Mind" EP, out soon on a limited edition 7" picture disc. The release of their EP will be followed by extensive touring all over Europe. The band will also be part of the 1st edition of the True Spirit Tour, alongside No Turning Back, Risk It, World Eater and Redemption Denied, from the 1st to the 12th of May.
