Into The Void

One of the grimest hardcore bands this side of Europe goes ballistic with a new track that straight up crushes. I pity the fool that don't give it a listen. The sick, heavy intro sets the mood, and when the proper tune kicks in it's all out war. I mean it, that's how good it is. It moves in, hits you hard, and leaves you wanting more. I like how it sounds fresh, but also brings all the elements I like about classics like Integrity, All Out War or Ringworm.

I don't know any details about the new record but I sense it's going to rip. I praised their debut ep (review), but this new one is shaping to be even harder and meaner.

it's no time for peace

it's time to bring war

Indication to drop XI 7" via Last Warning Records

Whoa, another hard as nails band from Poland. This time it's Indication who bring something straight up dense, agressive and dark that everyone into early Integrity/Ringworm shit should appreciate. After the band dropped awesome demo in 2013, this year it's time for a proper debut seven inch entitled XI. The band is already streaming the first song from the upcoming record and it's every bit as powerful as I had hoped. You need to pump up the volume on this banger and go crazy! More about the band here.

On the edge of...

Taut - On the edge of...

It’s time to give props to my local scene. East of Europe is no joke! This one was posted to bandcamp earlier this year but it’s just lately that I had checked it out.

Taut was a short lived band from east of Poland and this is remastered version of their first and only demo that came out in 2009. The first version was rough sounding at times, but the energy was definitely there. On this one, the beefier production makes this band sound even more pissed off and powerful.

Their style was NYHC-inspired with some hints of thrash in the heavier parts. It comes in like combination of Madball and Bitter End, you get the deal. Tough, street-smart hardcore that is hitting as hard as possible. But despite band’s focus on staying aggressive all the time, the tracks are well formed and complex.

Anyway, I advise everyone to give it a try - I suppose the band was not very popular outside Poland so it might be something new for most of you.

Review: Last Dayz/Cornered - Split 7”

LLast Dayz/Cornered - Split 7” (Ratel) - It’s been some time since this one came out and I have already reviewed the new ep from Last Dayz some time ago, but this split is too dope to get unnoticed. Last Dayz comes blasting with 2 tracks, of which both are nothing less than crushing. They can be best described as hard as nails PAHC-styled core that packs enough vicious breakdowns to make you wanna hurt random people with no reason.

Slam!

Let the boys be boys... everyone into tough-sounding hardcore not unlike Crown Of Thornz, One Life Crew or Krutch should be aware of Last Dayz. They rep Polish scene and have couple of fine releases under their belt. The band has just posted two new songs from their upcoming 7" ep. Pre-orders are starting soon and you will have a chance to get your copy here. Shit is so hard that it's scary!

Another Polish heavyweights are Desperate Times who also just posted some new tunes. "Go listen to the second track from upcoming "New Course of Action" 7".Ratel Records & Last Warning teamed up to put it out - 100 pcs of red wax and 200 psc of black wax." Pre-orders are supposed to start real soon!

Download: Concrete Dog - Demo 2013

Rough and antisocial hardcore/punk from Poland. Bad english, no skills and awful sound quality make it a real gem. Plus, you get heartfelt lyrics about kicking scene wise-asses right in the teeth, the urge to kill and about some dude who's acting normal but he keeps immigrants and sex slaves in his house. It's so good I wanna punch random people in the face. Download!

Schizma releases new ep, 'Dla Was'

Poland's hardcore legend, Schizma, has just dropped new EP called Dla Was. 4 new tracks that show the band at its best with aggressive, honest and in-your-face delivery. Out now on Spook Records! Check out teaser below!

New video by Death Row from Warsaw,Poland. The track is taken from the upcoming split with Hard To Breathe.

Desperate Times streams new song!

Desperate Times, heavyweight hardcore from my beloved Poland, have just uploaded new track on their bandcamp profile. The band has gone through some line-up changes recently, but it didn't slow them down. As expected, the new song is a total banger and perfect example of testorone filled hardcore that only the toughest of the tough can handle. Check out this gem here.

Bloodstained - Negativity

It's been three years since the band's latest album Saligia came out, but it's just now that Bloodstained releases a video for the Negativity track. It takes you on a trip through sick imagery, brutal visions, smut and filth of life. If Gaspar Noe was making clips for hardcore bands, the outcome would be something like Negativity. If you claim to be into heavy metallic hardcore and are not familiar with Bloodstained, you should be ashamed. The band is one of the best in heavyweight hardcore division, and as brutal as hardcore gets. Think like combination of Shattered Realm and Kickback with lots of sick, twisted shit on top.

Reality Check - Sacrifice

One of the tracks from a 7" compilation of some of the finest young Polish Hardcore bands. All songs for this release are exclusive. You can buy it here.

ThugxLife 'All eyez on you' 7-inch on Refuse Records

Don't be misled by the name of the band. Right, ThugXLife stands strong, but on the positive side of the thing! Their music and lyrics are filled with youthful passion and they're full on straight edge HC with a good dose of anger. After well-received "You're the boss" demo and successful "Drug Free Tour 2011" with Cymeon X and Regres, this band from Poznan, Poland is coming with their debut 7". There's 8 songs influenced by the bands like Internal Affairs, Ten Yard Fight, Get the Most or Chain Of Strength. ThugXLife is a prove that the Edge isn't gone dull yet in Eastern/Central Europe! Songs "War" and "I still believe" from upcoming 7": thugxlife.bandcamp.com

Reality Check - No Love For The Underdogs

Reality Check is considerably young band out of Warsaw, Poland but made of folks who have been active in local scene for some time. They take some influences from bands like Terror, Death Threat or Hoods, I guess you know the deal. The songs are fast and no bullshit, they get the job done fast with no fancy technical wankery and that's what I like it the most. The lyrics are 100% hardcore, dealing with topics like scene unity, friends and usual everyday bullshit. Honest, but not cliche. I suggest all of you download this shit, and not because they rep my hometown, but because this is just solid piece of hardcore. Download it!
