If you know their previous records you basically know what to expect. Knuckledust is not the band to change their style on every record but they always manage to deliver some really killer tracks. Promises Comfort Fools is no exception. You want real hardcore, you get it!
Basically, this album picks up where Unbreakable left off. The sound is even more powerful, but the core remains the same – heavy, hard hitting hardcore with some macho attitude and real life lyrics. When it comes to some really rugged and raw stuff, Knuckledust are untouchable. Pierre voice is pissed off as never before, the guitar work is insane and the song-writing is tight. They also did fantastic job blending hip hop influences with hardcore now and then, it really adds to their music and makes it more groovy. These tracks will get the floor moving for sure. This is one of the best 2008 releases for me and if you are looking for some seriously energized tunes you don’t wanna miss this on!
