As far as I know, this band has members of Expire or something. Also, Cross Me and Black Ice. This demo is actually even better than the last Expire. Metallic hardcore with beefed up riffs and vocals that sound mean and forceful. It's not too fast, but the groove is right and it doesn't get boring.

3 tracks to demonstrate what these Aussie dudes are capable of. Tough sounding hardcore with a heavy twist that brings to mind bands like Hatebreed, Madball or Death Before Dishonor. The band uses pretty simple formula but it delivers, a stripped down display of sharp riffing, heavy drums and rough vocals. All in all, it's more than enough to have a decent sounding hardcore record.

Demo: Hollowed Out

Sick two-track demo from Saint Louis,MO-based Hollowed Out. If you're down for heavy-ass, thrash-infused hardcore you need to check this one out. There's even some Clevo sound to be heard now and there, but basically they're working with a solid hardcore foundation and add bunch of thick and brutal metal influences on top of it. This is short but slick demo by this new Canada band. There's a nice classic NYHC flow to it and Warzone comes to mind immediately when listening to these tunes. I don't have to say it's never a bad thing. All Bark, No Bite is a stand out, but actually both tracks are great. You can get the demo on tape here.

Demos worth your time

I don't have time to post about every hardcore demo that comes my way, but from time to time I come across some decent stuff that is worth sharing.

First, we got Beg To Differ who hail from Eindhoven and got started when some dudes decided there's not enought of the negative sound Blood For Blood and Sheer Terror in 2014. The songs on band's first demo are very dope with straight to the point type of vibe and a very sinister feel. There's a lot of negativity in the lyrics, and there's even track called 'The world needs real men'. Amen to that! Often when you read album reviews you see people talking about bands’ need to stay creative or break new grounds.

New demos that don't suck: Feeding Chain, Forced Order, Shrapnel

Feeding Chain's debut demo is called Public Execution. The band hails from UKHC scene with members of Ego Trip and Final Rage. This is some seriously raw and gritty hardcore driven by hatred and anger. Music for society's outcasts and lowlifes who don't give a fuck. Download

Forced Order is a new southern California hardcore band and this is their debut demo. Still fresh, it dropped just in recent weeks. The songs hit hard from start to finish, I am curious to learn more about this band but google search just shows their bandcamp, no website or fb page. Download
