London's No Second Chance are joining the Rucktion familia! Those hard-working boys have been touring the UK and Europe relentlessy for the past few years and they're about to embark on their first US tour. They'll be recording a brand new EP next month with Stu McKay (50 Caliber, Brutality Will Prevail etc.) for release on Rucktion in the next few months. This follows up their split with Beater and their well-acclaimed debut full-length "Never Ending Fear".

Oblivion to release 7"

Oblivion (Tacoma, WA) streams two songs from the upcoming 7" ep. Listen to Doomed and Noose Of Hope here. Musically, it's something between hardcore and death metal, but don't confuse it with any deathcore bullshit. It actually has been up since march, but if you haven't heard it before give it a try.

Face Your Enemy - Do The Right Thing

Face Your Enemy is back to drop bombs on your ass. The band has cooked up ten new tracks which are no doubt their best work to date. I still dig their previous albums, but this shit over here is definitely step in good direction. They moved away from the typical beatdown sounds of their previous outputs and focused on more vibrant sound. The music still goes hard and heavy, but they keep it diversified with a lot of different influences running from traditional hardcore to straight up metal.

Watch Your Back Interview

Watch Your Back is band from Finland that brings some hard-hitting hardcore with balls and attitude. All across there are kids that can’t take a joke so I appreciate when some dudes bring that ‘don’t give a fuck’ mindset to the game. It’s not a joke band though, they also sing about some serious shit as well so the ‘message’ element is still here. Anyway, read the interview.

Bottomfeeder - II

The band seems to be mostly influenced by NYC and Clevo bands and this EP shows that. Bottomfeeder favors gritty metallic hardcore that falls somewhere between Merauder and Ringworm which results in a truly menacing sound. But don’t get it confused with some cheap Holy Terror wannabe band. This shit is for real. Heavy and dark and straight up evil. There’s also some All Out War influences here and there, but it makes this shit heavier and better.
