Labyrinthe signs with Innerstrength Records

Innerstrength Records announces the addition of North Carolina based Labyrinthe. They will enter the studio early this Spring to record their debut album. Prior to recording their album they will do a short tour with Attila. Besides recording new material they will re-record the tracks Tentacle Rape and Rambos Revenge. Since the bands inception Labyrinthe has adopted a take no prisoners attitude towards the metal/hardcore scene. With a constant show schedule and new material being released on a regular basis, they have captured a sizeable fan base not only in their home state, but in areas abroad. The group's members have all previously played in well known acts, some including: A Stained Glass Romance, The Fire The Flood, Chyme, The Ethereal and more. Since the bands beginning, the goal has remained the same; to create a unique death metal sound, but stay true to their hardcore roots in terms of heaviness. Labyrinthe intends to stay on the road, promoting their brand of Queen City Deathcore.

Not many of the hardcore bands that started in the 80’ still know how to rock this shit today. Madball are one of the few that have been releasing new records for about 20 years and still keep it tight. Infiltrate The System is an album that stays loyal to the rules of the genre but at the same time brims with fresh ideas.

It starts with We The People and Infiltrate The System, two adrenaline packed hardcore anthems and my favorite songs on the album. They pump up the adrenaline level high since the beginning and never let go till the last song comes to an end. Madball still creates a brand of hardcore that sounds aggressive and fresh and they simply leave all the competition behind. It’s as fast, angry and straight in your system as you would expect it to be, but at the same they know how to pack their songs with hooks and catchy riffs. Lyrically, it takes you on a ride into the real world of today with its conflicts, media control, corrupted systems and injustice. The real life stories and hardcore scene topics are still present, but the socially aware themes set the mood for the album. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that they’ve become political band, it’s just that you can hear they have matured over the years as far as the lyrics are concerned. To be honest, I’m pretty sure most of you heard this record already so let’s keep it short. Infiltrate The System is an album that deserves a listen from anyone who claims to love hardcore. Madball still remain unbowed!

First of all our Lawyer applied for cancelation of the entry. Quite possible that they dismiss our petition. If so, we will file an objection together with some Fanzines, Mailorders and Recordlabels. This would become very expensive because of the lawyer's fee.

xSolidarityx called it quits

Here's the statement from the band:

After being a band for a little over a year, we are sad to say that we are calling it quits. Our vocalist Andre is 29 years old and has priorities in his life that cannot be met if he were continue his position as the vocalist of xSOLIDARITYx. He is married and is in the process of becoming a full time pastor. We still have faith in God, we are still straight edge, and we still love hardcore. None of those things will ever change for us. We're playing one last show in Marysville on March 14th at the Holygrounds. Please make it out to this show if possible. We would love to spend our last show with all of our friends. We would also like to thank all the people, bands, and venues who have supported us along the way. You have enabled us to reach our full potential as a band, which is more than we ever imagined.
