Rhinoceros new album "They Are Coming For Me" to drop in February

Buffalo straight edge juggernauts RHINOCEROS are ready to break out with their Eulogy Recordings debut “They Are Coming For Me” on February 2nd. A new song “Righteous Man” has also been posted on their new Myspace page. Starting late January they’ll be taking part of the “EULOGY TOUR 2010″ with label mates DONNYBROOK!, KNOCK ‘EM DEAD and on select dates LIVING HELL, xTYRANTx, SHATTERED REALM and FURIOUS STYLES. Bio:
RHINOCEROS are a Buffalo, NY straight edge band formed in May of 2006 from the ashes of local Buffalo hardcore favorites Infamous and xToThisDayx. They began touring and recording every chance they had for the next 3 years and the results were “Honor Among Thieves” (album), Buffalo (EP) and a split with friends Suicide Pact from Cincinnati, OH. They have crossed the US and back numerous times as well as making trips into Mexico and overseas to Europe and the UK.
2010 will no doubt be the year of the RHINOCEROS with their Eulogy Recordings debut “THEY ARE COMING FOR ME” set to be released in early February. It is a release that will surely open peoples eyes to this band. 12 songs that are heavy, fast and in your face. Each song has the potential to become a dance floor favorite. The album was produced by Jay Zubricky from Buffalo, NY with help from Andy Williams (Every Time I Die). Knock'Em Dead new album "Endless Struggle" set for February 2nd release

Miami’s KNOCK ‘EM DEAD are set to release their long awaited debut album “Endless Struggle” on February 2nd through Eulogy Recordings. The album was produced by Will Putney at the Machine Shop. They recently shot a music video for the song “Killing Hope” off the new album by Brad Gregory which is currently in the editing process.

The first installment of 3 video studio blogs has just been posted on their newly revised Myspace page. A new song “Endless Struggle” has also been posted on their new Myspace page. KNOCK ‘EM DEAD started early 2005, with drive and passion. We wanted to bring true life back into the heavy music scene. Hamlet and Vladimir joined forces with Gus, Aric and Matt to write a heavy an fast album with a inspirational lyrics. This music is in your face and it’s meant to wake you up and get your life back on track. Also to know there’s pain in this world.
“Endless Struggle” is KNOCK ‘EM DEAD’s long awaited debut album. The album is complete from top to bottom, from the lyrics to the music. We wanted to write something original but keep the Miami flavor. We were really inspired by Sepultura, Slayer, All Out War, 100 Demons, Napalm Death and last but not least Rage Against The Machine. To some people the lyrics will hit right at home, to others the fast and heavy music is something they can relate too. Hardway signed with Strikedown Records

Italian Hardway inked a deal with Strikedown Records. The band is currently working on a new album. Their last work, "Hold out to the last", was a piece of solid and heavy hardcore so let's hope they will be able to deliver something at least as good this time.

Andrews UK Release “The 40Seven – Two Steps Back"

Andrews UK Limited, are pleased to announce their latest AUK Music release – Two Steps Back from the band The 40seven. The début CD release by this Luton, UK, based band is the culmination of several years of hard work and sheer determination by this five piece who are often seen on the UK scene.

What Still Holds True is about to drop in some early 2010. Blackout Rage - American Straight Edge

When it comes to straight up aggressive straight edge hardcore, you can always expect Seventh Dagger to drop some of the hardest in the game. Blackout Rage is no exception here and even this short EP proves that all the kids out there who are still hungry for raw yet no bullshit hardcore should pay attention.

The band is dead serious and constantly aims to step up their game. Every note is played with maximum strength and every vocal line is spat out with extraordinary aggression. The singer Pauly Edge is touching on a subject of resistance to the corruption and depravity of the modern world, while the rest of the band serves a slick yet rugged soundtrack to his message, well infested with drums that hit hard, and riffs that snap necks. Fitting in between the crushing heaviness of Merauder, and the mosh madness that Throwdown once were famous for, band’s music carries one hell of a punch. They didn’t name the band like that for no reason.

I like the fact that Blackout Rage is not afraid of having an opinion and are open with their beliefs no matter what some scene kids gonna think about it. In an era where it’s common to find bands selling out their integrity or softening their message just to get a record deal or just play shows, Blackout Rage delivers this skinny-jeaned brat that hardcore has become a much needed a kick in the bollocks. In conclusion, along with a heap of killer releases coming out recently from Seventh Dagger, Blackout Rage is most definitely at the top.

Seven One Hate started out in 2009 in Queens NY and has been built by Shawn Frontline, David Pickford, Mike Palmer and Rjae... all former members from the bands of Frontline, Downfall aka Sworn Enemy, No Redeeming Social Value, 36 Deadly Fists and Romero they all have been through some of the worst times in their lives going as far back as ‘87 when they first got into this scene... through all this time they have built up so much hate, hurt, and love and are now ready to unleash it with Seven One Hate.

When did the band get together and how?

The band started out as a little jam project me and our guitarist matt lyness, back in high school when we were about 12 - 13 years oldand over the years, name changes, multiple member changes ect. We grew older our music got stronger, and then it turned into what you hear today which is This Distance thats about it to be honest, we work hard on what we write and take pride in how we preform and display that music back to a live crowd .

Who are your influences?

Well we take our influences from bands such as It prevails, For the fallen dreams, Taken, Underoath, misery signals its a whole mix of bands and styles


How do you think the scene is doing in England and worldwide?

I’d say its a strong scene seems to set the standards with up coming bands not only uk but to wider areas such as Europe, America all the bands fly over to the uk to check out the scene its pretty crazy.

Have you any shows planned in Middle/Eastern Europe?

Yes we do were planning a Europe tour at the moment with our boys Tides of virtue, were currently hitting up countries such as "poland" "Belgium" "Italy" all dates tba on the myspace @ www.myspace.com/thisdistanceuk

Where do you most like to play live?

We mostly play in england, usually the major cities are where the best venues and most crowds are.

Who would be your favourite band to share a stage with?

We have had the pleasure of supporting "It prevails" on there 2009 uk tour that was a pretty major experience for us we were totally blown away by them and so grateful we had the opportunity to share a stage with them. So i’d say it prevails or for the fallen dreams would be ideal show to play.

What are you working on in the studio at the moment? 

We just recently came out of the studio as were recording a single titled "The Dreamer" should be up on our myspace within the next few days hopefully and we should be back into the studio at the mid of 2010 to record our Debut album so be sure to check that out when it drops.

What are your main lyrical influences when you are writing songs/records?

Well scott writes all lyrics so i guess he just writes what he feels and what the music makes him feel, so human emotion what you feel inside.


Do you have any specific rituals for the studio, or just go in and play?

Em... we just basically go in there with the song fresh in our heads from practice and smash it out make a few weeks here and there and boom we have it down dun and dusted, thats basically how it goes for us recording wise, we don’t really like to rush things.

What do you feel has been the high point so far as a band?

Like i said before shareing the stage with such big bands over our time as a band has been a mile stone in its selfsuch as Eternal lord, Your demise, 50 lions(aus), Reign supreme(usa), CDC(usa) It prevails (usa) thats all i can think of at the moment been so many but you get the idea.

Our press campaign for our EP was a good time too we scored 7/10 in rocksound so we were stoked to go to a shop and pick up a mag with our ep inside was so weird seeing our cd there after seeing so many bands before us have there reviews there also.
Touring the uk is always a fun time in the distance camp being away from home showering where ever you can its not much of a goal but we never thought we would end up on the road at all playing back to back we get such a thrill off it we just keep coming back for more.

Winter 08. me, faz and paul wanted to play some aggro hardcore punk. then sometime in January the next year will came along and screamed his fuckin balls off over the shitty songs we'd written.

mainly old hc, Slapshot, Sheer Terror, F.U.'S, Left For Dead

How do you think the scene is doing in England and worldwide?
we don't really give a shit, we do our own thing and play when and where we can. the "scene" pretty much sucks cock.

not at the moment, but if someone wants to hook that up for us, fuckin awesome!

anywhere we can, we'll play any shit waste of time gig we're offered

What are you working on in the studio at the moment?
nothing at the moment, we've been playing gigs but haven't rehearsed for months. although we have an ep coming out on worthless nights records from Essex called FUCK THIS LIFE.

i dont write the lyrics, but im sure will would say miserable fuckin depressing every day life and worthless cunt hc posers.

my ritual is drinking beer and smoking weed. will drinks this disgusting energy drink stuff all the time.

probably when we played at the rampart squat in london, just because it was a fuckload of fun.
