The album is expected drop inOctober. More details coming soon!

Jungle Fever to drop Reckless Reality ep

Jungle Fever are from Italy and they love NYHC sound, which was easy to notice when you listened to their first demo. The band has just announced they will drop new ep called Reckless Reality via Open Up records. Pre-orders are up here. There will be 200 black and 100 yellow vinyl pressed.

Video: Ablaze - The War On Heaven

Roughneck Media have created this nice clip for Germany's Ablaze. The War On Heaven is a track off of their upcoming split with Martyr's Tongue & Avalanche.

Two new songs from Bad Terms

Bad Terms have uploaded two new tracks to their bandcamp and they both rip! Life Sentence is evil, and the Descension is heavy as hell. This is just a teaser for band's upcoming album, so make sure you like their facebook page to keep yourself updated! Real American Hardcore!

Review: Mark My Words - Indicators

Australia’s Mark My Words brings dance floor hardcore stripped to the basics - lots of heavy, fast tunes with hard breakdowns and tough vocals. The album sound strong and I can see lots of kids moshing hard for this band! Above all, it reminds me of old Hatebreed, even the vocals are sounding very similar to early Jasta. It’s not a bad thing though. There are also obvious NYHC influences, with some of the songs having a strong Madball feel to them. These are strong foundations for a solid hardcore album.

Video: Drowning - Judgement

This is brand new video from Drowningout of Chicago. Dope live footage with kids going crazy and beating the shit out of each other!

Listen to upcoming 7" by Kid Armor

Kid Armor is a really cool new youth crew band from Southern California and they will have a debut 7" Better Days released by Commitment Records. Pre-orders for the record have already started, check it out here. Musically, it's upbeat and raw, with tons of strong riffs and gang vocals. A lot of their lyrics deal with dangers of taking drugs and the band is not shy about their straight edge stance. I expect to see kids slamming hard to tracks like Better Days or Pound, great stuff!

No One Is Safe Interview

No One Is Safe is another band out of Finland that got that metallic hardcore sound on lock. Their latest album brought on some heavy tunes that anyone into Bulldoze or Second To None should appreciate. This is kind of weird story, but between me sending the questions and the band answering them, they decided to call it quits. So, this is the last historic interview with the No One Is Safe. Apart from band related topics, I got them to share some info about the Finnish scene which in my opinion is one of the coolest in Europe. Check it out!

Video: Dynasty - Explicit Method

Dynasty have released a new video for ‘Explicit Method’ off of their latest album Beyond Measure (Facedown Recs).

Cruel Hand streams Vigilant Citizen

Trible B Records is streaming two new songs from Cruel Hand, which will appear on band's upcoming 7 inch Vigilant Citizen. The label is already taking pre-orders for the release, check it out here. It's a one time pressing of 1000 copies, two colors available. Dont miss it!

Lifers Recs plans for 2013: Enforcers, Wrong Hands, A Perfect Murder

Lifers Records from Montreal is planning some cool releases this year. First of all, Enforcers will be dropping new 7" called State Of Matter, check the short promo video above. Actually, it ends when things start to get heavy, but even so short teaser makes me think that it's gonna be a great ep. Wrong Hands will release 'We Will Bury The Gods That Birthed Us', a title which promises something truly epic. Surprisingly, A Perfect Murder are still active, and their new cd will be out May 21st. Keep your eyes open!

You can also order Lifers' older releases from here.

Crowd Deterrent and Race Riot 59 split in the works!

Crowd deterrent and Race Riot 59 will drop split called "Beasts From The Northeast" via Unholy House Records! Except to hear new songs in the beginning of May!

6131 take pre-orders for new Downpresser LP

6131 Records have launched pre-orders for new Downpresser album called 'Don't Need A Reason'. Not much is known about the release right now except that it's gonna be dope!

Review: Incendiary - Cost Of Living

Incendiary continues to strive for perfection. Knowing their previous material I expected only good stuff from this release and I am not disappointed. With Cost Of Living, the band proves it still got what it takes, and their dynamic and powerful brand of hardcore is only getting better. One of the more striking elements of the album is how good the songs flow together, each one delivering force with plenty of attitude.

Live Footage: 86 Mentality at Damaged City Fest (4/13/13)

It seems 86 Mentality got together again for couple of shows, but I have no clue if they gonna be writing new music or releasing any new material. That's one of my fav bands so it would be cool to hear some new tunes from them, but if not that's also ok cause I can still play Goin' Nowhere Fast on rewind all day long. Oi!

Demo Daze: Loose Ends, First Degree, Denny Crane

Loose Ends - Free Spirit
The brand new ep by Loose Ends brings 4 tracks of heavy-ass metallic hardcore that has very nice vibe to it. One of the coolest new bands I've heard in a while. For fans of Fury Of V, Merauder, Dead End Path and just good heavy music in general.

First Degree - California Beatdown
Beatdown hardcore the way it should be played. It's heavy but slick with crushing riffs, double bass and vocals that pack enough attitude on these numbers to guarantee that the message gets across. I would say it's something between Sworn Vengeance, Shattered Realm and Suffokate, but best judge for yourself.

Denny Crane – Attitude Beatdown Berlin
This one is obviously from Germany. Danny Crane is putting out split ep with Hometown Hate soon, but before that happens here's this album. Berlin is one of the coolest cities in Europe and I can totally understand all the hometown pride that fills this album Fans of Fallbrawl and other beatdown bands from Germany should be pleased.

Human Animal Interview

Human Animal is a new band from Erie, PA started by couple of dudes who cut their teeth in some of the most awesome classic bands from that area (too many names too mention, read the interview!). But it’s not about bringing back the past, Human Animal definitely can stand their ground. When band’s debut ep dropped last year I knew they still got it. It packs so much heaviness that you can't ignore it, but there’s also a lot of finesse to these songs. Some nice metallic vibes makes you think about the 90’, but everything is sharp, fresh and up to date. Check out the interview to learn some cool stuff about the band, but also some insights into the history and current state of Erie scene.

Video: Human Animal - Swine Flu

Human Animal have dropped this nice vid for Swine Flu track off of their massive debut ep, Dark Days. You can order the 7" from Holy Mountain Printing.

Download: Mastiff - Trap City

Somehow I missed this demo when it came out in December last year and just came across the band recently. Trap City is supposedly the first release from this Cali band and it brings six tracks of heavy and tough hardcore. What struck me most about this demo is the fact that Mastiff sounds really sharp and on point all the time, and there’s a lot of cocky attitude in the music which is always good. The sound quality is great, all the songs are awesome and I am sure most of you will enjoy this demo as much as I do. Download it!

RoughneckMedia: Look my Way Album Release Show

Look My Way have just dropped new album entitled Mentality and celebrated this with album release show in Duisburgm Germany last Saturday! My people from Roughneck Media have visited the show to document this epic event and of course filmed all the bands playing there: World Eater, The Platoon, The Ice, Surge of Fury and Look My Way! The first vids are already online - featuring World Eater, The Platoon and The Ice. The rest will follow in the upcoming days, so make sure you subscribe to their Youtube channel! World Eater gave a solid performance, I don't know why everyone is hiding in the back of the venue?

Review: Strength Approach - Roma Hardcore State of Mind

Strength Approach seems to be one of the longest running bands from Italy, I even remember that one of their tracks was featured on the classic Call For Unity compilations by Back Ta Basics. It’s good to see them still going strong! The band makes absolutely no effort to hide their influences and the whole thing speaks of NYHC sound, bringing to mind classic albums we all grew up on. While their early releases were more youth crew oriented, in recent years their style progressed towards harder sound. It combines the rawness of Agnostic Front with energy of Sick Of It All, but they put their own spin on everything so it’s cool and the tracks don’t feel forced.

Black Rebels Recs drops debut ep by Death Camp

Black Rebel Records has released Teenage Nightmare EP by Death Camp. As the label descibes it, "The band plays heavy, almost metallic H/C, with their influences ranging equally from stuff like Sheer Terror & Warzone as well as The Replacements, Suede & Sisters of Mercy." I can only add that the ep rips and everyone who can should get it! You can listen to the whole EP for free here.

Download: Cold Reality - Demo 2013

Mad thanks to Straight On View for putting me onto this band. Cold Reality hails from Hungary but they sound like they could be straight from Texas or Pennsylvania. The demo delivers mean and tough hardcore with strong vocals spitting about fucked up things in this world - backstabbers, apathy, self-rightous pricks and so on. The recording quality is raw as fuck, but if you can get pass that there's definitely talent to be found. Download it!

DYW Records to drop Mark My Words' Indicators album on vinyl

Here's are the words from my people from DYW Records: We're stoked to finally have a release date for the European vinyl release of the Mark My Words "Indicators" LP. Originally only released on CD in Australia later last year on Skull & Bones Records, we're proud to release this great piece of hardcore here in Europe and on wax! For those of you not familiar with the Central Coast quintet, since their first EP in 2009, these guys have been delivering some heavy hardcore to the masses, reminiscent of legendary Madball and Terror with the more modern touch of bands like The Ghost Inside. The LP will feature a brand new artwork and will drop just in time for the band's European tour supporting Strength Approach. Listen to a couple of their songs in the player on our website, start moshing and expect some news about pre-orders at some point during the summer! Mark My Words and Strength Approach will be touring Europe from September 20th to October 6th. The show is managed by Stronger Bookings, so make sure you get in touch with them if you want to book a show in your hometown and e-mail them at: strongerbookings [at] gmail.com.

Video: Angel Dust - Slam

Short, but cool video from Angel Dust, a new band with members from Trapped Under Ice, Mindset and couple more Baltimore bands.

Horror: Night Of The Living Punks

Small town punk rockers THE BRAIN DEADS have their first out of town gig. But there are a few problems: The venue is deserted, the promoter is a creep, their bass player has gone missing, and the only kids in the audience appear to be bloodthirsty monsters from hell. It's gonna take a lot more than a few power chords and teenage angst to survive this night.

Night of the Punks is low-budget 80′s slasher worship with a style bringing to mind Troma classics or Night Of the Living Dead flicks. The movie was directed by Dan Riesser and got everything you'd want from this type of movie. The right amount of gore and bad humor makes it actually fun to watch.

Download: Pantah - Demo 2013

I came across this band by accident but it turns out it's damn solid demo. Pantah hails from The Netherlands and delivers powerful NYHC-influenced hardcore with agressive attitude and good skills. If a band names Warzone, Cro-Mags, Youth of Today and Judge you know it's gonne be the shit. The demo is available on tape from War Inside Records. Highly recommended stuff, we need more bands like this! Download it!

Summer Of Hate 2013

Fucking yeah! This is awesome! Summer Of Hate 2013 line up is One Life Crew, Merauder, Stout, Crowd Deterrent, Life After Death, Taste The Steel, King Nine and more! That's more toughness and testosterone than UFC event! July 13th, Grog Shop, Cleveland, Ohio!

Upperhand is about to bring hardcore pride back with Chains of Shame 7"

Mind Rot Records will be releasing Richmond, VA's Upperhand debut 7" called "Chains of Shame." As the label says, "featuring members of Break Away and Friend or Foe this record should please anybody who is fans of Murphy's Law, Breakdown and the Cro-mags." I love all of these bands and I am sure I will love Upperhand when I hear the 7". Show your support and buy pre-orders here.

Listen to World Gone Mad by Demolition

Demolition's new 7 inch, World Gone Mad, will be out on Trible B records. The band is from Canada and plays fast and tight hardcore. The title track is mental!

New Shin To Shin track proves Aaron Melnick is genius

Shin To Shin is a band of Aaron Melnick of Integrity/In Cold Blood fame and they got new tune on recent A389 MMXIII digital mixtape. Check out their tune here.

Joe Lauzon: "The Problem Solver"

Here's a cool documentary which was published in December 2012 as a part of Vice's Fightland series, filmed and directed by McFarland & Pecci. If you're scratching your head cause the name Ian McFarland sounds familiar, it's possibly because he used to play bass for Blood For Blood before pursuing full-time documentarian and commercial director career. Judging from the clip, Joe Lazon is a really cool and intelligent dude and I respect that he is not taking the easiest route, but instead choses the hard way to make his dreams reality. You might know him from The Ultimate Fighter 5, but here's more insight into his mindset as a figher and what motives him to go on. After watching this, also check out documantary about Dan Hardy, which was also filmed by McFarland & Pecci.

Clenched Fist streams Guns N' Roaches

Clenched Fist posted new track, Guns N' Roaches! Shit is powerful!

Download: Side Split - 2nd Self Demo

This Chicago band delivers real hard tunes on what I suppose is their debut demo. 2nd Self boasts 4 tracks of raging hardcore, simple and aggressive with tons of energy. There is some thrash feel in their music which I like, and some of the riffs and hooks are above average. I dig that the band is far from boring, but they know that hardcore should be delivered raw and uncompromising. Perfect example that you don't have to stretch out songs to sound good if you know what you’re doing. Side Split have really earned my respect with that demo. Download it!

HB Radio #8 - Trouble Shooters

Here’s a nice little collection of bad-ass hardcore to start April with! 20 tracks in 45 minutes. From old school to new school, these are all legit bands that proudly represent what’s important in hardcore – hard work, dedication, tattoos and being awesome all the way. Just check out the first track by Reality Check, which I personally think are the future of hardcore in Europe. Apart from RC, it features tracks from Warbrain, Life After Death, Mad World, Crowd Deterrent, The Killer, Rotten Souls and many more. Good chance to check out new bands if you don’t know some of these names! You can open it in a pop-up window for more convenience.

New Blood: Disapproval

Dissaproval hails from Southern California and has cought my attention with their debut ep, El Monte Youth Authorite. It delivers five hard-ass tunes played the way it should be - straight to the point and nothing too much intelectual. Check out short interview with the band.

Video: Terror - The Most High

Great song, great video! This one shows the band on the road and is as hardcore as it gets.

Live Footage: Iron Boots at United Blood 2013

Judging by the comments, pics and live videoes that pop up around Internet, United Blood 2013 was a blast. EpicMoments have uploaded some footage from the fest, you can check it out here. Check out Iron Boots performance above, one of my favorite bands.

Video: Truth In Needles - Keep Me Down

Truth In Needles never gives up when it comes to bringing that raw NYHC sound. They stuff remind me a lot of classic 90' East Coast stuff, probably if they were active back then they would end up on Back To Basics or Too Damn Hype. Here's the latest video from the band, another one from the Turning Gray Black album. DIY!
